Science & Technology🌱People are trying to find out plenty of solutions how to help our enviroment ... Today I saw this interesting idea, but I'm really curious about your opinion.. Do you think it is better to invest in something like this or better to find a place for plant a tree?
Also tree has few more advantages.. Shadow and biodiversity... But still my opinion is that every drop into the sea will help a little.. So, let me know.. 🌱😉
The solution
Dr. Ivan Spasojevic, Ph.D. in Biophysical sciences, and one of the authors on the project from the Institute for Multidisciplinary Research at the University of Belgrade, developed an innovative tool for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality: the liquid tree. Also dubbed LIQUID 3, the novel creation is Serbia’s first urban photo-bioreactor, a solution in the fight for clean air. It contains six hundred litres of water and works by using microalgae to bind carbon dioxide and produce pure oxygen through photosynthesis.
The microalgae replace two 10-year-old trees or 200 square meters of lawn. The function of the LIQUID 3 is practically an imitation of it. Both trees and grass perform photosynthesis and bind carbon dioxide. However, the advantage of microalgae is that it is 10 to 50 times more efficient than trees. The team behind LIQUID 3 has stated that their goal is not to replace forests or tree planting plans but to use this system to fill those urban pockets where there is no space for planting trees. In conditions of intense pollution, such as Belgrade, many trees cannot survive, while algae do not have a problem with the great levels of pollution.

Science & Technology🌳We already know that nature is just full of plastic trash.. It is almost everywhere..and I'm not saying about that big one, visible, which we can at least pick up.. But about microplastics.. In water worldwide, into the soil, and unfortunately also into almost all living creatures..
Bigger parts is easy to pick up and take it to the landfill.. But you can hardly see those little and micro parts.. It is there until now..
🤷🏼♂️So for the beggining I only wanted to show you some of my own photos..
But now try to imagine that plastic, in some mysterious way, also get into the geology of our Earth.. Actually, you don't even have to imagine it.. 😂 Here is an example..
The geology of Brazil’s volcanic Trindade Island has fascinated scientists for years, but the discovery of rocks made from plastic debris in this remote turtle refuge is sparking alarm.
Melted plastic has become intertwined with rocks on the island, located 1,140 km (708 miles) from the southeastern state of Espirito Santo, which researchers say is evidence of humans’ growing influence over the earth’s geological cycles.
“This is new and terrifying at the same time, because pollution has reached geology,”
- Fernanda Avelar Santos, a geologist at the Federal University of Parana.
Santos and her team ran chemical tests to find out what kind of plastics are in the rocks called “plastiglomerates” because they are made of a mixture of sedimentary granules and other debris held together by plastic.
“We identified the pollution mainly comes from fishing nets, which is very common debris on Trinidade Island’s beaches. The nets are dragged by the marine currents and accumulate on the beach. When the temperature rises, this plastic melts and becomes embedded with the beach’s natural material.” - Santos said
Trindade Island is one of the world’s most important conservation spots for green turtles, or Chelonia mydas, with thousands arriving each year to lay their eggs. The only human inhabitants on Trindade are members of the Brazilian navy, which maintains a base on the island and protects the nesting turtles.

💧Is it necessary to back everything up with scientific data, such as here that water flows in a given formation because of the shapes of the bedrock? Or is it sometimes appropriate to believe the local people who have inhabited the area for centuries?🤷🏼♂️
💧Children are those beings who usually don't overcomplicate things. When I read this rumor to them, and showed them also this post about existence similarities, the younger one said:
"I thought that the waterfall was created by chance, but now I know that nothing in nature and in the universe is accidental..."

Dangerous and crazy.. 😁 But also fun and you need great knowledge about meteorology and Principles and technique of flying.. You have to learn how to find rising thermal currents if you want to fly for a longer distance..
🤷♂️And who are the masters of thermals?? Birds of pray!! Many paragliders are observe them during their fly and copy their flying ways.. Without flapping their wings, they can fly long distances and raise heights of many meters..
And then Scott Mason in 2001 came with an idea:

The team started by training two black kites, but have since added two Egyptian vultures, Kevin and Bob, to the team. Only rescued birds are used – none of the birds have been taken from the wild.

🤷♂️If you want to start with this, you will have to use basic physical principles: center of gravity and counterweight.
🎯The center of gravity is basically the place or point where there is an equal amount of weight on all sides. So any time you want to balance something, you're actually going to have to find its center of gravity. To balance a rock, the Center of Gravity must be directly above where it touches the underlying rock.
If your rock tower has one small rock at the bottom and you're trying to balance the bigger rock on top to hold the bigger rock, just place it so that its center of gravity is over the smaller rock, the area of contact. This is easier said than done. This is where balance comes into play.

🤭If you want one stone to stick out at an odd angle, the center of gravity of that stone does not have to be above the contact area, but you can place the second stone on the other side so that the center of gravity of both rocks combined is above the contact area. This is how they will balance each other.
And of course, you can try to balance almost everything.. Good example is this guy:😂🤭

The weird behavior of a galaxy around a billion light-years away suggests that it might contain one of the most highly anticipated events in modern astronomy.Fluctuations in light from the center of the galaxy SDSS J1430+2303 look suspiciously like a pair of supermassive black holes with a combined mass of around 200 million Suns destined for an imminent collision with each other.
Imminent" in cosmic terms can often stretch on for whole lifetimes. Fortunately in this case, astronomers predict that if the signal is indeed the result of colossal black holes they will merge within the next three years.It may be our best shot yet to see two supermassive black holes collide… but we still don't know for sure if that's what is going on at the heart of J1429+2303. Scientists advise that we continue watching the strange galaxy to see if it can be conclusively identified.

Science & Technology🚘When we see the sign Rolls-Royce, we first imagine a luxury car... but did you know that this company also deals in aviation technology and turbine engines on a large scale?
🔹The company announced the development of a small nuclear reactor to help with space travel and building bases on the surface of the moon..
🔸The special reactor, which the company called the Micro-Reactor, will be designed to survive the harsh conditions of space travel. Uranium is supposed to be under several layers of protective packaging, and it is supposed to be the most important product of Rolls-Royce's space division. However, it should not only be used for travel, but also for living on other space bodies.
🔹The Rolls-Royce reactors are supposed to function, for example, as power plants for future bases or colonies on the surface of the moon or even Mars. The company has also released an image that shows the potential appearance of such a fission reactor, but for now it is only a preliminary design and it is working with the UK Space Agency on the study. We will wait for the final version.
🔸Such reactors can help space transport, especially in connection with ion propulsion. The latter is mainly used by satellites, or China's new space station or the upcoming Gateway station, which the US wants to place in an orbit around the moon in cooperation with other countries. But the ion drive uses electricity and needs a lot of it to unlock its true potential.
🔹Carrying large solar panels with you is impractical for such drives, as they are dynamically stressed during acceleration, when the electrical energy is consumed the most. This can be solved by fission reactors, which, although heavy, can, after sufficient miniaturization, drive powerful ion drives that are capable of shortening the journey to Mars to just a few tens of days.

Not just for space🔸Rolls-Royce develops reactors not only for space use, but even for use on Earth. Small reactors working on nuclear fusion - tokamaks - are still the music of the distant future, so I think, this is great alternative.. Specifically, it deals with smaller modular reactors that are supposed to help with the climate crisis by making clean energy available at a much lower cost and with much greater construction flexibility.
🤷♂️But would we believe such a technologies? Nuclear fission has a huge number of opponents, even though it is only one of the most cleanest energies.. After all, there are certain risks..
