🧙‍♀️Hi guys.. We had a break for few days becouse of Easter and some unexpected trips 🤭 (from my side), but I hope it didn't dampen your appetite for scientific knowledge.. 🤓

It is already few weeks I wanted to do a post about Arno Rubik's world most famous puzzle - Rubic cube.. And I didn't do it only becouse I'm not able to find that my one, becouse Like you know me, I like much more my own photos like use sources.. But today I saw something I want to have at home... 😁

Hahaha, what do you say?? 🤩

This is not a trick but the floating robotic version of the iconic puzzle toy.. It was made by Japanese inventor Human Controler. While he makes other curious things, Human Controller appears to be obsessed with the 1974 invention by Hungarian sculptor and architect professor Ernő Rubik. He made hits first version of the self-solving Rubik’s Cube in April 2017.

Human Controller uses a 3D printer to create the custom cores full of servo motors, which are controlled by an Arduino board at its heart. The impressive part is how he’s able to fit all those electronics inside that little space.

The levitating version was even more difficult to make than the regular one, as it had to use powerful magnets inside the core to interact with the magnets installed inside the table under it. The opposing magnetic forces make the toy levitate about an inch over the surface.

More to read in this source..

I think Rubik Cube could be great theme for some more posts.. 😁👏 Tell me what do you think about this..
