“How can I stand on the ground every day and not feel its power? How can I live my life stepping on this stuff and not wonder at it?”
- William Bryant Logan, faculty member at the New York Botanical Garden, and practicing arborist
Soil - One of the main resources of humanity and at the same time one of the biggest problems we have to face in the near future. All life depends on this tiny and thin part of our Earth.. 🌱
🤷♂️Over time, people forget how important the soil is to us.. Most live in cities, and they can buy all the necessary food in stores.. Feeling the connection between man and nature often happens only on the basis of screens from the comfort of home.. Not to mention the connection between man and the soil.. So how should we begin to perceive the importance of this miracle - this source of life?
🤔Again, I think we have to start with education.
Healthy soil full of organisms.. 🐛🌱And maybe this thread, which will be a subcategory of Environment, will help spread the word a bit and ultimately, it will contribute to soil conservation..
So any post about soil will be added here to create amazing library of knowledge..
🤯Did you know that up to five tons of organisms can live on one hectare of land?🤯
