Man United were Beaten by Fulham at Old Trafford on Saturday in the Premier League by 1-2 and it was absolutely shameful for United.Jamie Carragher highlighted the issues in Erik ten Hag system on Monday Night Football as United are 08 points adrift of the Top 04 and face Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup today.

In the first half an hour [vs Fulham] he had a point. Fulham surprised with their midfield setup and we had to find a solution. We did after half an hour.

He wasn't pleased with the defensive performance, especially down the left side and that has everything to do with willingness, spirit and passion. That was good in previous weeks, therefore we won football games.Footballers are not robots, sometimes they have bad days. It was unacceptable and we have to do better.

The FA Cup represents the last realistic chance of silverware for Manchester United this season and Ten Hag stressed the importance of the fixture at Forest.They were unbeaten in January and February and  lost one game. It was a poor performance and defeat, they are aware.They want to stay in every competition. They have to win tomorrow. It doesn't change Their approach ,that is for every game.They know the future. But He looks at today, He works on the team development and try to win every game.

Since Ten Hag joined the club in 2022, United have faced 20 or more shots in a Premier League game 12 times , already double that of Man City and Liverpool under Guardiola and Klopp, despite the pair having spent a combined 13 years longer with their clubs. This season alone, Ten Hag has watched his side face 16 or more shots on 14 different occasions, a tally matched only by Luton and Sheffield United, who both sit in the relegation zone.

Carragher said that Over the last few weeks, Manchester United have been in great form but still the underlying numbers have been really poor.They've been very fortunate, so we're not talking about them now just because they lost to Fulham.It's about performance. They defend like a team I've never seen before. They like to press high with a deep block.It's impossible. They like to do two things at the same time. You can only do one or the other.We're all pressing high or we're all defending deep. They're trying to do both.

Carragher said: "I've chosen clips against Fulham, but I could have chosen clips from where they've won games like against Aston Villa. It's still the same problem.I want to highlight a problem from the very kick-off. If I highlight Kobbie Mainoo, this is not a criticism of him, it's more of what are his instructions before the game?He's not sure if he should be looking after the holding midfielder or watching the No 10. He's caught in between.

I don't know why if a Team outperforms,We say it might have done some goof training and when it fails,We say its awful.I mean,We saw today that there wasn't even a single player who showed good performance like seeing him,i could say ,Good job mate!

We saw a bit improved performance recently with Garnacho playing on the left and Marcus Rashford on the right while Hojlund at center.But as Hojlund wasn't available,what They could do.It might be Scott McTominay but he is effective and successful as he second striker.Hojlund goes one way and McTominay goes the other way,and he ends up either freeing up Space for Hojlund or creates a space for himself.When you're a Lone striker,and got Two center-Halfs around you, I don't think McTominay would do quite well .It could be add-up of Bruno Fernandes as some sort of False 9.He acts as a Good striker and maybe, Another forward in the mix could be brought in.

But to be honest,it wasn't the lack of Presence at front,it was indeed lack of Presence of everywhere.United was incredibly poor in the game.They couldn't bring the ball from back to front,they couldn't drove it through midfield.We saw Everytime,They got the ball ,It was going into Fulham side.There was a panic situation created among United side especially in last 10-15 minutes.There was no control and it was evident as United shots efficiency dropped out in the last phase of the game as compared to the 1st one.Christen Erikson was amazing  and as expected,he just outperform.I love his performance and he is just good especially in defense.

Man United is getting Worse and worse like they're 08 points behind Aston Villa to make it to the Top4 .I mean how they will fight against Manchester City with this efficiency.United might probably make it to FA Cup final or semifinal but i don't think they can beat Arsenal or City at such a Team performance.They need an outbreak while sir Jim Ratcliffe intentions are Clear.He isn't in hurry and might take Time.Harry Maguire was worse again if you see a technical point of view .

He recently gave some good covers but he is never a good defender.if you watch closely,he is always behind somebody.Although,Bruno Fernandes looked a little bit satisfied despite he was playing under Great pressure when they needed a Goal.Overall,the performance was terrible,but how they panicked at last moments to get a Goal and ended up giving the Goal , was just awful .They got less shots and less freedom at end which resulted in great disappointed ending United winning streak of 2024.
