Mauricio Pochettino claims VAR has damaged image of English football after Chelsea denied denied stoppage-time comeback win at Aston Villa by VAR; Axel Disasi header in added time appeared to overturn deficit, but Benoit Badiashile was ruled to have fouled Diego Carlos. He looked to be ending a horror week in style when Axel Disasi header in the fourth minute of time added on crashed in off the crossbar to overturn a 2-0 deficit.

But Benoit Badiashile was ruled to have fouled Diego Carlos in the build-up and the goal was ruled out meaning the visitors had to settle for a point. It had seemed like it was going to be another night to forget for Chelsea as Marc Cucurella own goal and a Morgan Rogers strike put Villa 2-0 up at the break. But Chelsea, still licking their wounds from their 5-0 hammering at Arsenal in midweek, responded well and drew level through Noni Madueke and Conor Gallagher before the injury-time drama as Villa will feel they got away with one, despite leading 2-0.

This VAR and Referee controversy is getting hotter and i believe its 100% Right that it's damaging reputation of football. The VAR was implanted to make referees decisions better but they also failed badly as per recent events. They defo need to improve their performance or system.Allthough,Humans can make mistakes but I think in Football where you can't afford that,so defo an update in the system to make it even more better maybe needed or they might take some measures while progress has already started.

Aiming to qualify for Europ Premier club competition for the first time, Villa were primed to move nine points clear of Tottenham at 5th Place but looked leggy and not at their best.Pochettino was pleased with his side performance and they still have a chance to qualify for Europe if they can finish an inconsistent season strongly.
Any opinions on VAR ?
