The top 5 teams in the EPL all won their matches except for Aston Villa who lost to Manchester United 1-2. The win by MU has enabled the club which was languishing to creep into 6th place in the EPL
. Thus the current top 6 places in the EPL are now occupied by the supposedly "Big Six". I will make another post why they are considered as the Big Six - it will be a story of how the Big 2 evolved into Big 4 and then further evolved into Big 6.
The biggest win by the Big Six last week in Round 24 of the EPL was by Arsenal who defeated West Ham 6-0 This huge win is very important to Arsenal because compared to the 2 clubs above it in the EPL table it had a poorer goal difference. The big win helped it to narrow the gap. Goal difference may become important as only 2 points seperate the top 3 teams : Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.

West Ham is not a weak team and has won against big clubs. So it was quite surprising that it lost by such huge margin against Arsenal. Did you enjoy watching that game? 🦋
MU had a disastrous first half of the current season including being eliminated in the group stage of the Champions League. In the EPL, they had so few points that it was likely that MU will not be able to finish in this year's top 4 in order to qualify for next year's Champions League.
Recently MU has scored goals late in matches to grab points from their opponents. Before their latest win against Aston Villa was the come from behind 4-3 victory over Wolves
The recent victories by MU has made it possible for MU to try to climb another 2 places to 4th place and so qualify for next year's Champions League.
DO YOU THINK THAT THEY CAN DO THIS? 🦋
All the Big six who are currently occupying the top 6 places in the EPL will hope to win their next match in the round of 25.
MU's opponent is relegation battling Luton so it is possible for MU to continue their climb. 🦋
