A couple of weeks ago, Gucci announced adoption of cryptocurrencies payments in its few of US stores, TAG Heur followed the same on its US based website. Its Balenciaga turn now as the french based luxury fashion brand has announced the adoption of crypto payments in US store from starting June.

Users will be able to avail crypto payment option both online and flagship stores located at Madison Avenue in New York and in Beverley Hills. Balenciaga has not confirmed which cryptocurrencies will be available to purchase items. However, it is expected that bitcoin and ethereum are most likely going to be two options available to customers to start with, and more cryptos could be added down the line. Answering the concern over volatility of crypto market, their spokesperson said

“Balenciaga is thinking long-term about crypto, and fluctuations in currency value are nothing new.”

Earlier this month Balenciaga also announced about launching of “Cristóbal Balenciaga: To the Moon” NFT collection on Crypto.com NFT marketplace.
