Unfortunately for Vincent, the society he lived in did not appreciate  him. He sold only 1 painting during his lifetime. It was only after his death that he became famous.

Those around Vincent did not understand him and would not listen or understand what he tried to tell them.

Like the bloody rose that lay crushed on the snow in the song, Vincent's heart💔 was crushed by the torment he suffered.

In despair, he took his own life.

See why people contemplate suicide in

My husband Eric is like Vincent. He is a beautiful person that I and those around him find hard to understand.

Eric has Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). He is insecure and fear being abandoned. He often react to his fear with anger and has suicidal tendencies.

These characteristics of a person with BPD make Eric difficult to get along with and also his work performance.

I did not know that Eric has BPD and like the woman who failed to understand Vincent, did not understand Eric.

He likes poetry and tried to use it to let me understand him. I refused to read what he wrote and do not pay attention to what he tried to say.

Both Eric and I did not understand one another. We became disappointed with each other. The disappointment grew into bitterness and anger.

This caused our relationship to go down the drain. We shout and quarreled 💥🔥⚡ everyday.

We stayed in seperate rooms. Being an insecure person who feared abandonment, this made Eric feel even more rejected.

As someone with suicidal tendencies, Eric engaged in pre-suicidal activities. I was oblivious to all these.

A friend of ours helped us to understand each other and we mended our relationship before it was too late.

I would have felt so bad if Eric had done what Vincent did.

I would be tormented by guilt when I found out that I had driven him to take his life.

Eric and I can share happy memories and look forward to more of such moments 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 because we now understand one another and our relationship has been restored

God is so good to us and has brought a friend into our lives to help us.

Thank you Lord and thank you friend for helping us.

Can you guess who that friend is?
