for some reason watching people self-harm was funny to my brother and me every night we sat together laughing at this reality show that Mtv offered.

the program is based on a game called "silent library"  under the supervision of the Zen master, played by actor Peter Law, who assigns the rituals that must be fulfilled to supposedly reach Zen enlightenment; there are no dialogues between the participants. The program is made up of nine rituals, each of which causes the victim some form of pain or discomfort, and must be completed in silence, and sometimes in a set period of time.

It was too entertaining in those days. Mtv offered countless good programs, does anyone remember seeing this program?
