"I'm going to be king of the Pirates!" - Exlaimed an excitable and driven Luffy.

I have to be honest and say that this is the first anime to live-action adaptation I have thoroughly enjoyed, and with that comes a high recommendation to all existing fans (of the anime) and new fans alike. I loved it!
There are a few flaws here and there, more specifically the awkward performances from a few actors, but aside from that this live-action adaptation of "One Piece" remains attentive to the original source, with its own innovative elements without being disrespectful. I really enjoyed Inaki Godoy as the main protagonist, Luffy. So very likeable, and the other characters are too.

This fresh new series comes with 8 episodes and is suitable for both fans and new audiences alike. I am hoping for a second season, which I have no doubt it will as this has been a success. So climb aboard and give it a watch if this has your interest piqued.
