Getting my IUD made me realize exactly how sexist medical care is

I have extreme PMDD and I got an IUD to help lessen symptoms. I think it's extremely sexist that they only give you information before the procedure about the best outcomes (Like healing in 2 days, an estimate of how much spotting, etc).
Then I was told during the procedure "you'll feel a pinch" and it just made me mad because my mom had it done and I knew before hand it was going to hurt.
It's been over two weeks I'm still in bad pain, bleeding, puking, etc. Which is all normal for my regular periods. The Doctor then told me "oh yeah it can take days to 6 months." Then told me to take 4 Ibuprofen every 6 hours. I feel there should be better pain/nausea management for women in this situation. It may sound dramatic but the Ibuprofen option makes me feel not human. I have no control over the cramps and no control of what's causing it.
I'm also diagnosed with PTSD and going to the procedure was very scary. I know for a fact they could make it easier and less stressful on victims yet chose not to..
