My partner took it badly and now refuses to speak with me.

(40f) am with my partner (54m) for around a year. We live together for around 6 months. He has 2 kids from previous relationships (3m and 7f). I know the girl for around 8 months, the boy for 5. The kids spend with us half of the week.

I have brought at home an old handmade sushi set for two. It is almost with antique value, especially made to be used only by couples.

I am travelling for a few days and my partner just sent me a photo of his daughter using the set. She is adorable child but she has tendency to break almost everything which goes in her hands (we have broken glasses and plates every week).

I politely and nicely asked my partner to be careful in the use and reminded that the set is handmade and intended for use by couples.

I admit, I didn't feel well to see the set being used by someone else than us both.
