My husband simply doesn't get it

My husband does tell me he cares about women’s rights but he thinks I take it too far and lose sleep over it (which I do). He worries it’s affecting my mental health, and maybe it is. I have pretty bad PPA so these things send me down a spiral sometimes and I get really worked up. I’m going to sit down and talk to him about this and hopefully we’ll find resolution. My husband and l overall have a healthy marriage. We have three young kids. We don’t fight that much but the thing we fight about most is political topics, feminism etc. I’ve always been more left leaning but I had my major feminist awakening in the past year since having our daughter and Roe being overturned. My husband considers himself pretty much a centrist but would vote for a more socialist type candidate if there was someone like a Bernie Sanders available. We both have the same education level which is a graduate degree but right now I’m a SAHM and he works but he’s a great partner and involved parent.

Anyways, we’ve gotten into some explosive fights lately over abortion. We live in Wisconsin. He’s pro choice but I’ve been explaining to him the horrible things happening to women now in anti-choice states like ours. He says “no it isn’t” “where do you get your information” and “why do you care so much this doesn’t affect us and if you needed an abortion we could travel”. He thinks I’m making the stuff up. He doesn’t understand being a woman in this country and it’s just so frustrating that I get so mad when he doesn’t listen to me. Also when I mention rape statistics and the rise of incel behavior he says that’s such a small percentage of men and I just hate all men and am getting brainwashed and he doesn’t know why I even married a man if I hate men so much. He gets offended and says I’m generalizing. Ugh I don’t know where I’m going with this but how do I get him to see my side of things or should I just give up on that altogether??
