Jun 8, 2024 4:01 PM
The last football season saw intense competition among clubs in the top five European leagues, marked by high excitement and remarkable performances from players across all positions.
According to the statistics site "Score90," here are the top five players in each position for the 2023-2024 season:
Best 5 Central Defenders in the Top Five European Leagues: 2023-2024
- Antonio Rüdiger (Real Madrid, Spain)
- William Saliba (Arsenal, England)
- Alessandro Bastoni (Inter Milan, Italy)
- Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool, England)
- Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal, England)
In my opinion, Antonio Rüdiger deserves the title of the best defender. He performed excellently, stopping top strikers like Osimhen, Haaland, and Harry Kane in crucial matches. He led Real Madrid to the best defense in La Liga and helped secure the Champions League title without a single defeat.

- Gregor Kobel (Borussia Dortmund, Germany)
- Emiliano Martínez (Aston Villa, England)
- Alisson Becker (Liverpool, England)
- Andriy Lunin (Real Madrid, Spain)
- Unai Simón (Athletic Bilbao, Spain)
I believe Gregor Kobel deserves the best goalkeeper award. He had an outstanding season, helping Borussia Dortmund reach the final stages of competitions.
Best 5 Wingers in the Top Five European Leagues: 2023-2024
- Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid, Spain)

- Phil Foden (Manchester City, England)
- Bukayo Saka (Arsenal, England)
- Rodrygo (Real Madrid, Spain)

Vinícius Júnior deserves to be recognized as the best winger in the world. He scored many crucial goals that led Real Madrid to win various titles.
Best 5 Forwards in the Top Five European Leagues: 2023-2024
- Harry Kane (Bayern Munich, Germany)
- Erling Haaland (Manchester City, England)
- Lautaro Martínez (Inter Milan, Italy)

- Serhou Guirassy (Stuttgart, Germany)
I believe Erling Haaland is the best forward. Despite not having the season he was expected to, he remains a scoring machine, facing the toughest defenders and scoring against the best goalkeepers.
