FC Barcelona will cash in if  their injured midfielder, Pedri is out for more than four weeks. He injured his right quad during the first half of a La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao and memorably left the San Mames Stadium sobbing uncontrollably.

Luckily, he was able to return to action for the first time since his breakthrough 2020/2021 campaign and finish the season with Barca, which also meant he could be included in Luis de la Fuente squad for the European Championship. But a similar situation unfolded in Stuttgart as Spain and Germany began their quarter-final clash last Friday.

Just minutes after the tournament began, Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos threw the 21-year-old into the air, and he was soon seen holding back tears as he pushed him off the field. A source from the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) told Mundo Deportivo that Pedri had sprained the medial collateral ligament of his left knee and appeared to have hit the turf when he landed.

While the retired Tony  Kroos  has apologized to his former rival at Barcelona in El Clasico, asking for forgiveness and saying he was a good player, Pedri's case at the Euros is over, meaning he will not be able to play in the final. The anonymous medical center explained to the medical doctor that Pedri could now be stopped for one to one and a half months due to the blow he suffered.
