6 Celtic fringe players and youngsters who impressed in Ayr United friendly

It was only a pre-season game but Celtic fans are an expectant bunch and would have been wanting a result and performance against Ayr United.
The former wasn't to be as the sides cancelled each other out in a 1-1 draw to mark the home side's unveiling of their new stand at Somerset Park.

I think that the 1-1 draw between Celtic and Ayr United in the pre-season game was a fair result, with both teams showing moments of quality. Kyogo and Anton Dowds scoring from penalties added excitement to the match. It was a good opportunity for fringe players and youth prospects to showcase their abilities, with some players impressing despite the friendly nature of the game. Overall, I believe it was a valuable exercise for both teams to assess their squad depth and potential ahead of the upcoming season.
