French star Kylian Mbappe has not had the expected start since joining Real Madrid, as he failed to score in the team’s first two matches in La Liga.

Real Madrid played two relatively easy matches at the start of the La Liga season, against Real Mallorca and Real Valladolid, scoring four goals. However, Mbappe, the "awaited" star, couldn't score in either match, increasing the pressure on him from the fans. One fan wrote after Mbappe missed an easy chance against Valladolid: "He can't even score against a newly promoted team... Mbappe will struggle."

Some compared him to Real Madrid's new striker, Endrick, saying, "Mbappe is struggling to get a shot on target, while Endrick is dribbling and scoring with ease."

Others defended Mbappe, claiming that criticism after just two matches is insane, and that "a player of Mbappe's caliber will score many goals over time." However, because of his high profile and the expectations placed on him, fans did not spare him from criticism and even some mockery for his failure to score.

In my opinion, Kylian Mbappe is not as bad as the media makes him out to be, but because his name is "Kylian" and this is Real Madrid, it's very normal for him to face such criticism. It will eventually lead some to question his talent, simply because all eyes are on him and the world is waiting to see what Mbappe will do with Real Madrid.

This is just the start of the season and Mbappe's first minutes with players he's never played with before, so it's entirely normal that the chemistry and understanding are weak, and it will take more time to adapt and get into the flow.
