Had my (vacuum aspiration) abortion today

For those who are scared of getting their abortion soon, please do not be scared, as awful as something like this inherently is, i was treated very humanely for doing something that felt so wrong.

Pain wise, it was uncomfortable but it wasn’t agony, if anything the overwhelming feelings and thoughts you have after are more intense than the procedure itself.

And for anyone who feels shame or is afraid of getting an abortion please dont feel that way at all, you’re amazing for taking the initiative to do the right thing for not only you but also that child, you’d make an amazing mother to say you’ve made the right choice rather than the easy choice - and the support i received from the staff was so maternal, I’m so grateful to have been so strong for it.
