ETF aproves Bitcoin 🫢

After long negotiations , finally the ETF approved Bitcoin. This means that the cryptocurrency is institutionalized and regulated. The crypto world was too volatile and the gouvernement didn’t recognized it , but it was there and they needed to find a way to swim with the innovative currency. I am sharing an article written by Reuters to read more about the approval. I am really curious what will happen with the altcoins now. Will they be increasing or do we expect the turn down. We saw that ETH, Matic, Dot and other alts have been moving between 10% to 20% up. I am sorry I didn’t bought too much of DOT , Matic and Gala. Some good coins that I follow and I still hope the market goes down one more time to buy to a good price. What do you think? What coins are you trading? 2y

Summary of the BBS Community Chat the 63th edition

Dear BBSers, First, thank you to everyone who took part in the 63tht BBS Community Chat that happened last Sunday on Twitter Space. Be aware that the BBS Community Chat is happening every Sunday from the month or in extraordinary cases (updates, new suggestions etc.). Our hot subject was the one and only: Changing of CPM to 5 and keeping the partnership. There was an idea of removing the partnership from BBS now that we have the Community Poll for tipping best content. The CPM was also reduced that time to 25 and gave the owners more power to reward the members as they wish. So, the partnership looked useless if any partner or non’-partner could earn equal if their content was excellent. But the partnership has more benefits on BBS, and it was decided to be kept, and  once again the CPM got down to 5. This is giving full control to the board owners to distribute rewards as they wish. The partnership is important because it permits anyone who is a partner in a community to make ads. Non-partners can’t do any ads. So, the partnership is good for avoiding any ads-spamming in any community. On the other hand, in the past many board owners might have used the partnership to keep the members active and in the communities this resulting with spamming and fraud. ( Some of us can actually remember some examples).  With the new update it is a better way to avoid such spammers and to get a natural selection of top  contributors.  But it is important to mention that tipping should not be used   just for  people’s retention in the community.  Owners have the power to build a community using tipping to enlighten and reward the best content.  That will make the community successful.  So, when you invite people to some communities, don’t explain about the rewards they might get, but tell them the potential if the network and that they are going to take part in a good project.  Another subject was : For the people (like me too 😅) who didn’t understand the tipping system and why we don’t tip in BBS tokens, the tipping is actually in BBS tokens. Once you get tipped in dollars, the tipping is automatically exchanged in BBS tokens and it gets into your tokens balance. The reason to tip in dollars is for people’s understanding. No one knows the value of BBS tokens, but the dollar value is recognizable everywhere in the world. So, it is made more for the readability of the tip. If for example, you don’t have BBS tokens, the BBS is prompting you to buy BBS with a credit card. So, remember that every time you give or get tipped, you can see it in your BBS tokens balance. Suggestion:  An interesting suggestion was that the Super Comments value to be shown not only in dollars, but also in BBS tokens. An idea that Eyal said he will mention to the team.  There is a list of TOP countries by event count on BBS. SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 58th edition

Dear BBSers, I start with a small reminder that The Weekly Chat will be named The Monthly Chat - that is because we have decided to hold the Twitter Space just once a month – the last Sunday of the month. So the next Monthly Chat will be on the 28th of May. We will come up with updates and announcements about this and hopefully more people will join to share their thoughts about BBS. Like always, last Sunday we joined the Space and discussed about what is going on BBS. Unfortunately, Eyal Hertzog didn’t join due to a trip. We had a couple of questions for him. We hope to catch him next time and get more insights. So, back to our chat, the topics were :  The progress and growth of BBSThe content creator’s contentThe future feature of Cash tipping procedure The progress and growth of BBS. Board owners, moderators and members are concerned about the growth of BBS. Even if we are in a pilot phase and the team is trying to find the best way to make the platform work and offer good quality content to the end user, there is a concern about how much the BBS team cares about its growth. What does growth mean in terms of BBS? Growth of traffic?  Growth of new members?  Or growth of quality content? As we look now,  BBS is searching mainly for a traffic growth. But is that enough to grow most of the communities on BBS? We (members) need help to promote it and attract new members. At the same time, we need to make those members stay on the platform and spread the word about it. How can we keep the members stick to BBS? Is the quality of the content enough or do we need more? If we need more, what can it be? I guess anyone can answer this question. I can answer that we need more stability from BBS when it comes to new changes. Too many and too often changes are not healthy, and people get confused. And here we talk about the Road Map of BBS. There is a road map and there are expectations that it is delivered in time.  It took more than a quarter to fulfill the plan for Q1 and we started the Q2 and nothing from the map was released.  Maybe more information regarding this and how long the whole process is will help the members understand it better. So, the progress on BBS is not as we are expecting and is lacking many things, but CryptoRasta87 always says: ‘’we are at the beginning and we are in the pilot phase’’ I hope we don’t lie to ourselves with this and wake up in disillusion.  The content creator’s content This goes hand in hand to the healthy and quality growth of any community.  We believe that members should take their activity in communities more seriously , especially when they post.  Your content as a publisher is your mirror in the community. If your content is attractive, challenging and to the point, then you can make people more curious about your work and they will start following you each time you share something.  Build your reputation as a content creator. This will help you and the community you are a member.  Do you want to be a partner or your work to be rewarded? So, earn it and make it worth it.  Some tips we have shared are :  ➡️make sure the title is leading to the idea of your post.  ➡️ Make a short introduction and avoid the greetings, especially the part where many members are writing : ….. and now I am telling you about….  ➡️ Get informed about what you post - don’t drop a copy paste article or make as shallow post ➡️ And don't write  the text from the end where you ask people about their opinion. It is understandable that they will leave an opinion if they like your content.  So, for all the members, maybe it is good to think more about the quality of your content.  The future feature of Cash tipping procedure As we saw a post on Metabbs asking what’s the best procedure for the future Cash Tipping update, we have briefly discussed about who should benefit of it and we all agreed that cash tipping is for everyone, no matter if is a mod, board owner or a member, as long as their content or discussion is worthing it.   Of course, there should be taking care that the board owners and the moderators team will not work fraudulently.  One suggestion from us that we think will be very helpful : Once we have the pull for cash tipping, it will be great that the board owners get a separate wallet for cashing as well  and not mixed with the one they get the cash from their own posts.  This will be easier to have control over their earnings as board owners and distribute rewards.  So, the BBS team, please have  a think about this.   With all this said, I am happy we had another good talk and many members have joined the Space.  Thank you for joining the chat and see you next time in Twitter Space 👉Follow @bbs_weekly on Twitter here  Listen the whole Twitter Space here  HAVE  A GREAT WEEK EVERONE  💥Kryptokitty (Administrator and Host The Weekly Chat)💥3y

SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 57th edition Dear BBSers,  After a week of Easter break, we are back to discuss about BBS . The  57th edition of the Weekly Chat was an interesting one and we touched many good and important subjects.  Checking our topics , we have discussed abut :  1.The new EM approval boards and removal of some communities 2. The activity on BBS 3. Latest news from Eyal about BBS’s progress 1.The new EM approval boards and removal of some communities Last week we saw that the BBS admin team have approved the new  EM boards and  decided to remove some of the old boards from the program.  The new approved board for EM is actually only one single board : CINEMAX. They have fulfilled the criteria for this and successfully been approved for the EM program Congratulations! For some boards, this announcement wasn’t the best thing that happened.  The boards like BANTER, VILA, CHARTS AND UUNET, have been removed from the EM. This is sad because once they were very popular and had a good potential. Sadly the board owners didn’t care too much and had to face the consequences.  This resembles the fact that  the community administration has to be motivated , to stay close to the members and show interest.  In some of the removed boards, the board owner wasn’t present for months, maybe even a year.  It is sad to see a successful community declined ( it is  true that the content wasn’t the best, but once upon a time Banter community, because I talk about it, was the heart of BBS. Since moths it is a dead community where only few members are posting and interacting).  Maybe the board owner should have preserved it and handed it over to someone interested in keeping it active.  We saw 2 examples where board owners have stepped down and transferred their ownership to someone else who was interested to take over.  This is also a message for everyone to understand that the EM for a board is not guaranteed forever and as a partnership, it can always be revoked.  On the other hand , Eyal mentioned that old boards dying and new boards creating  is something  natural and should not bother anyone.  Maybe an old board dying is an opportunity for a new one rising.  Back to ownership :it is  possible to suggest having a  democratic community where the members are entitled to vote for the board administration. Maybe choose a delegator to represent them . This leads me to the word  Union - a community who has a union so it function democratic  because right now it is a kind of dictatorship ( if I have to quote Eyal).  2. The activity on BBS  This should have been a hot topic as we can see that the whole BBS is sleeping and not waking up . But, we didn't have too much time to discuss it, although Eyal mentioned that they are not ready to do  any marketing for BBS.  Why ? Per my understanding, from Eyal's speech,  BBS is not going to do any marketing until they have some successful communities. Communities that have a good content and genuine discussions.  We all were wondering why BBS is not promoted by the team? Why the team is not making any marketing.  Well,  I think we found the real answer.  This makes sense because as long as we have thousands of communities on BBS and none of them is amazing in content, BBS will not start doing any marketing campaign promotion  something that is not qualitative.  We get back to the board owners - they , the moderation team and the community members have the duty to create unique, qualitative and exciting posts for the readers.  3. Latest news about BBS’s progress/Road map Eyal reminded us that  their target for the road map is :  - Build the content format SDK -  will let anyone to build a new content format on BBS - The demo format added to the SDK - Premium Content Service - pay for subscription (anyone can build this).  Creating a Premium Content Service is a  motivation for people to create better and unique content because they can create Premium content and allow just the subscribers to see it. Subscriber who will pay  a monthly fee to have access to that Premium Content.  - Video threads - allowing to experience video responses in comments - the most exciting upcoming feature in Eyal’s vision.  This  will be on the mobile app for the start.  We are looking forward to seeing it implemented and using it. I hope it has the expected effect that is promised.  But the most expected feature by the members and board admins is the Cash tipping.  Cash tipping is a necessary feature implementation to change and balance the BBS rewards. Because , as long as there is a share of rewards, everyone wishes to have some.  This feature will be an excellent tool to reward and recognize a genuine comment or post.  For a good transparency for this there is taking in consideration to see how much the income was shared in the community - to see the exact percentage of how much the admin shares with the community.   A new idea is raised : to create new parameters for rewards based on the total number of unique visitors- not only registered members.  The boards that are able to generate more traffic will get more of the rewards.  This came up in discussion now, because before , the  BBS team could not have a real number of the total number   members who visited BBS - no matter if they were members or not.  Now it is possible to see that number and can easily be used as a parameter.  The idea sounds good because the more traffic you bring to your board the more community is growing. Not specially growing as a number of members, but in popularity.  I kind of agree to try this , but what will be the real parameters for this? How will the rewards be distributed ? Based on how many unique visitors per day?  A new feature having multiple accounts is in plan.  How is that possible?  Isn’t it considered fraud?  This feature can be allowed by using multiple accounts created with different email addresses if you are an owner of multiple  boards and you want to have a profile for each board. You can do this and let the BBS team know. You can even open different browsers and log in with one account for each community you moderate.  This is provisory named managerial accounts.  Do you agree with this?  Isn’t this against what we fought for mitigating fraud?  Some people can be honest, but some people can take advantage of it and use it as an excuse to commit fraud.  Some of us do not think that’s beneficial for BBS and allowing this will encourage people to make multiple accounts.  Other people including the CEO of BBS agreed that this will not be harmful as long as it will be transparent with the admin team.  But because we are in a  pilot phase, as we like to say, we can try this too.  What can we lose? Easter break for The Weekly Chat

Dear BBSers,  Due to the Easter Holidays , we have decided to take  a break this weekend and anyone who celebrates the Easter to enjoy it.  We will continue to discuss about BBS activity in the next edition .  Like a short summary ( that I have missed this week due to too much busy life) , I can tell you that last week we have discussed about: ✅  the power of the owners over their communities and how important is to be present in the community in order to assure members trust, grow the community and show interest.  ✅many members understand partnership wrong and take it for granted. Partnership is something you own true your genuine content and truly support for the community to help it grow and be sure that what you share and you engage has high quality.  Partnership can anytime be reviewed and taken.  It is exactly like the Engage Mining program: it can always be reviewed and removed if the community stop fulfilling the criteria.    ✅ the low activity over BBS : Are the members not finding BBS interesting ? Are they motivated just by the money and stopped their activity? Why number of new members is decreasing and the activity of the old ones is diminished? Why the app didn't had a higher impact?  To many questions that we could not find and answer for. But it looks like there are many people just visiting the BBS , but not engaging. SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 54th edition

Dear BBSers    Sunday  was another great talk about BBS in our 54th edition of The Weekly Chat.  As usual we  are happy to have many members participating in front of board owners, moderators and of course the BBS CEO Eyal Hertzog.  This edition we had a good discussion ( except the bug from Twitter which created some problems) about the new weekly rapport Leaderboard mobile app migration installs, , how BBS is the best web 3 social media to build your community and  a marketing strategy for BBS presented by Eyal.  Leaderboard mobile app migration installs Recently we saw a briefing report about the mobile app installs where each board is ranked based on the number of mobile installs trough their unique community app link.  As we see the board Pro Choice is leading followed by Indfam,  Metabbs, Covid, Sativa, Sports, Charts, Techno, Theory , Banter, Gametech, Scite and Wtpap. The leading board has over 2 millions followers on Facebook, so it is normal to  see a higher number of installs, especially that in this community the anonymous feature is a hit and people are posting and commenting as anonymous. This is making BBS even more attractive.  BBS the best web 3 social media to build your own community.  As we know there are not many social media, but the majority are censored or centralized.  BBS came with the free option to create your own community in an uncensored , decentralized and demonopolized space.  Anyone who joins BBS can create their own community based on their favorite topic.  BBS already has some interesting communities of sport, movies, motivational, gaming, crypto based or even scientifical.  All you have to do is to start your own specific community and build it up.  There are a few easy steps to do this:  - Create a profile on bbs - Create your own community profile - Start sharing content about your topic - Remember to establish the guidelines for transparency and mitigating scam or fraud - Start your journey by spreading the word about your community  What can BBS offer?  - Free space to speak uncensored - Use/ choose one operator - functioning decentralized - All the information will be stored on a blockchain and will never be deleted - After a selection process your community can be funded with BBS tokens to help you grow it up and reward the best content Marketing strategy presented by Eyal Inspired by the other web 2 social media , Eyal and the bbs team is introducing free and deliberate video/record replies. On a platform fully decentralized with a fair dialog and not owned by a specific party.  This is the hidden gem of BBS to attract people’s attention.  Beside the fact that anyone can build its own community freely, the video/record reply will be a thing for people to create a direct debate .  Right now the team is planning a pilot test of this, a private community in Ebru  , where people are using this video/ record response.  As an example, how this will work check the below description: ☑️There will be 2 sides - A and B   ☑️Each side will record 1 minute video/record with their opinions ☑️After they share it, each of them will respond to each other.  ☑️There is a time limit of 180 seconds for each of the sides- so, in total around 7 minutes of debate.  ☑️All this will be seen by people and the best response may even be rewarded.  The big vision of this is to even bring influencers in a specific event to produce such video content.
